Dr. Ed Mills
Dr. Ed Mills is a native of the Lake Norman area.
He received his Bachelors Degree in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1979.
Dr. Mills is a 1983 graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, Pa.
He served as clinical chief of optometry for the 1st Cavalry Division at Fort Hood, Texas, in the United States Army.
Dr. Mills opened his private practice in January 1987, which moved to its current location in 1999. He and his wife, Karen, have two sons. His hobbies include water sports, hiking and coin collecting.
Dr. Christopher Mills
Dr. Christopher Mills is a native of Mooresville and a graduate of Mooresville Senior High School.
He received his Bachelors Degree in Biochemistry from North Carolina State University. He is a graduate of SUNY (State University of New York), College of Optometry in New York, NY. His externships include Southeastern Arizona VA Hospital, Tucson, AZ and Omni Eye Services, Atlanta, GA.
Dr. Mills practiced in Brooklyn, NY after graduating from optometry school. He also practiced in Columbia, SC before deciding to return home to practice with his father, Dr. Ed Mills.
He provides routine family eye care including the fitting of contact lenses, the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease and prescription eyeglasses. He enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
